T Levels
T Levels are two-year technical qualifications taken after GCSEs, broadly equivalent to three A Levels. They combine classroom learning with a substantial industry placement of at least 45 days, so you build real workplace skills. Ideal if you have a clear career area in mind and want a mix of study and hands-on experience.
Who it's for
Students with a clear career area in mind who want a mix of classroom learning and substantial real workplace experience.
Entry requirements
Usually around 4–5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, often including English and maths — though this varies by provider and subject.
Where it can lead
Skilled employment, a higher or degree apprenticeship, or university — T Levels carry UCAS points.
